music: Moulin Rouge (In my head, no need for stereo)
I just got done watching Moulin Rouge with Kirstyn, Stephanie, and Dunphy and I have to say, I LOVE THAT MOVIE!! I own it, and it is prolly the hundredth time I have seen it, but I still love it. The theme is perfect, just perfect. It is 1:30 am and I should really get to bed, but for some reason I have some energy.
The week was long and hard, but it is finally the weekend and Kirstyn is here. This line from Relient K's new song, "Must Have Done Something Right" will tell you exactly how I feel:
"This jealously
They can see that we've got it going on
I can not wait for a new improved way
To let you know you're more to me than what I know how to say
You're ok with the way this is going to be
Cause this is going to be the best thing we've ever seen"
There is a mutual friend, or at least there was, which didn't like the fact that I was friends with Kirstyn. This friend also insulted me tonight, not knowing I was in the room (this person was talking on the phone). I feel as if a friendship with this person would be a complete waste of my time, so screw it. I don't appreciate being stabbed behind my back by a supposed friend. But no worries, I have severed all ties and moved on. I deserve much better than that.
On a brighter note, I get to spend the day with Kirstyn and some other people, and we get to watch "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" tomorrow night, so that is exciting.
I better get to bed, I sure need the sleep.
SO, good night!

Must Have Done Something Right ~ Relient K
We should get jerseys
Cause we make a good team
But yours would look better than mine
Cause you're out of my league
And I know that it's so cliché
To tell you that everyday
I spend with you is the new best day of my life
And everyone watching us
Just turns away with disgust
This jealously
They can see that we've got it going on
I can not wait for a new improved way
To let you know you're more to me than what I know how to say
You're ok with the way this is going to be
Cause this is going to be the best thing we've ever seen
If anyone could make me a better person, you could
All I gotta say is I must have done something good
You came along one day and you rearranged my life
All I gotta say is I must have done something right
I must have done something right
Maybe I'm just luck
Cause it's hard to believe
Believe that somebody like you'd end up with someone like me
And I know that it's so cliché
To talk about you this way
But I'll push all my inhibitions aside
It's so very obvious
To everyone watching us
That we have got something real good going on
I can not wait for a new improved way
To let you know you're more to me than what I know how to say

Duty... Hehe, I said "Duty"
Feb. 4th, 2007 | 11:21 pm
mood:
cold
music: Christina Aguilera - Ain't no other man!
So I'm on duty for the third night in a row. Starting to get a bit monotonous. Other than that things are going ok. My computer is fucked up and it is driving me nuts. The songs have started to skip and such at the end of tracks, and it is doing it in every song/media player. I have concluded that my audio driver must be all messed up, which sucks because I can't fix it.
I loved the commercials this year, but they are starting to get boring. I like the Bud Light Rock, Paper, Scissors and the Dorritos commercial with the cashier who needs a "cleanup on register six!" But other than that, I wasn't rolling on the floor laughing like I used to.
Well, time for rounds soon.
Have a great week!

Weekend Blahs
Feb. 4th, 2007 | 11:41 am
mood:
apathetic
music: MMHMM - Relient K
So this has been quite the crappy weekend! I was on duty Friday and Saturday and then I took someone else's shift tonight, so that makes 3 nights in a row! I am physically drained and all I want to do is lay around and watch movies! But I have homework to do and my computer is all fucked up, and it is really pissing me off! My music keeps cutting in and out, but when I open the files in another music player, it doesn't do it. I need to use the Zune player in order to sync with my mp3 player, so it is frustrating.
Other than that I just feel like crap today. And I am totally procrastinating the homework as I tried to start it around 10:30 am and it is not almost noon. I should just finish it and watch movies the rest of the day! I may make tortilla espanola today, depending on how I feel.
Another week of boring school ahead...
I need a break.
I need challenging classes, my current ones do NOT stimulate my brain whatsoever.
I'm beggin' you, I'm beggin' you, I'm beggin' you to be my escape!
I <3 Relient K
Have a great week,
Brandon
P.S. The computer just glitched during Relient K, I am going to have to kill it!

Haircut Adventures
Feb. 3rd, 2007 | 02:42 pm
mood:
cold
music: Panic! at the Disco
So I decided that I need a haircut and ventured to the mall. Damn is it cold outside! So, due to the cold, everyone in the Eau Claire area was at the mall. And the place I usually get my haircut had a 90 minute wait. Fuck that! I don't have that much time to wait for someone to take a razor and scissors and cut my hair! So I checked other places in the mall, but they wanted $21-$25 for a haircut. Seriously, who pays that? So I went to Wal-Mart in hopes of getting one there; same problem, 90 minute wait...
So I went to Target and indulged in some coffee and shopped for around an hour. I love just walking around Target, it makes me happy. And I didn't buy much of anything, only some half & half for my coffee and milk. Other than that, its cold! I mean, when the high is still below zero, you know it is cold. My car started today, and hopefully it will again tomorrow, knock on wood.
I'm on duty tonight, so that is not fun, but hopefully I can get some work done, I have had the urge to dive into a good book and drink some hot cocoa or tea. Now build a fireplace with a warm fire and you'll make me happy. Since we can't build fires in the dorms, what's up with that?, I guess I will have to find a gif image or something that I can play on my computer screen!
Well, off to make myself a turkey sandwich, I'm hungry!
Keep it real!

First Day of Class

mood:

music: My Chemical Romance
So today was my first day of classes. Kinda boring actually. I really was hoping for more homework , considering I am sitting here bored out of my mind. But nonetheless, I will have to wait. The math lab opens up this Wednesday, so at least that will occupy some time while building up the bank account. Other than that, nothing really much happening. My grandpa had hip replacement surgery today and it went well, so that is making me a happy person. Other than that, I best be off, I am on duty tonight, so far so good!
Night everyone!

music: Pirates of the Carribean
"A revolution without dancing is a revolution not worth having." One of my favorite lines from the movie I just saw. I loved the movie, it really shows how corrupt the government can become and reminds me of our current president and how he is not listening to the people. Ever notice that the agenda is always what he wants, and not what the people want? That is what I hate, our country was founded by the people FOR the people, yet we pay through the nose for health insurance and education. Anywho, I better stop ranting.
I can't wait for school to start. 3 math classes and lots of free time. I can't wait. Well, I have to get some stuff ready for class, I hope I can continue to write as the semester progresses...
Best of luck to all with class in the mornin'!

music: The Black Parade; My Chemical Romance
So today for the first time I actually exercised! I went and used the elliptical in the basement of govs for 20 minutes. It was great and I felt good afterwords. I am going to try and fulfill my New Years Resolution and exercise at least 5 days a week. I am hoping to get into shape because I know it can only do me good!
I also bought a CD today, The Black Parade by My Chemical Romance and I LOVE this CD! It is so good and I am going to be listening to it for quite some time!
Other than that I hope to write on here more often. I know that with only 12 credits, I will have the time to do it!
Have a great first day of classes on Monday everyone!

I had a fun weekend with my parents. We did some shopping for my mom in Augusta (big amish shop there) and then we went to see "Man of the Year" They took me out for food a lot which was really cool because I am getting so sick of the cafeteria. My grandma also sent treats up with them for me... they are soooo good. If you want one, stop on over! Other than that I did hardly any homework this weekend, which was NOT my plan, so this week is gunna suck. Other that that... busy as usual, and our NRHH bid is done, which we are going to win!!! So, let me a note, I always like them :)

What a week!
Oct. 20th, 2006 | 06:44 pm
mood:
crappy
music: Fall Out Boy
It has been a long week! I can't even begin to explain the stress and discomfort this week has brought. Not only was school hell, but I had the NRHH bid due today, and that just took a LOT of time! I also am getting frustrated with my wing. Some of my guys have turned to drinking, and others have peer pressured others to drink as well. I really care for the guys on the wing! They are more than friends or residents! They keep me happy when I am down and I hate to see them screw up. Yet at the same time, I know they really need to make mistakes to learn. They also haven't been inviting me to go do things with them, which shouldn't bother me, after all, who wants their RA to hang out with them all the time. Yet, I feel like I am really friends with them, and when not in the dorm, we should be able to leave the RA thing behind. Who knows, I am just having a crappy week and don't feel like I really have many people to talk to it about. We shall see how things go, I think it is time I just became the RA on the floor and looked for other friends, although I would hate for that to happen. Well, I really need to get to the homework. No words can describe the shit loads I have to do! Till next time,
Brandon

So I haven't written in awhile. Nothing new here. I am enjoying the RA job, but right now I am worried about a friend who may be having trouble this semester with classes and balancing the hardships of life. So that tends to lengthen my days as I tend to worry about this friend a lot. They have been there for me, and I want to return the favor. We shall see how that goes. Anywho, got to run, off to bed...

So I haven't written in a while, so I thought I would do a quick update! I am in Eau Claire this summer, so if you are, and want to hang out, please message me, call me, e-mail me, etc. you get the drift. I am always bored and looking for cool people to hang out with! Other than that, research in the morning and then a short break for tutoring and back to research in the evening is my schedule! I am enjoying it here and hope to have even more crazy fun yet this summer! So talk to you all later!

Otherwise that is it, the only thing that bothers me is my relationship, I currently don't see a future, but I want to see it... So confudion is present and I am still trying to figure things out!

FIRST DAY!
Jan. 23rd, 2006 | 02:34 pm
mood: geeky
So its the first day of classes, math classes that is! I am pumped because my Real Analysis II class has NO homework, NO tests, and NO final exam. Basically we just go to class and do math, mabey some side examples and review at home, but nothing more! That makes my day! Abstract is in 20 minutes, so we will see how that class goes! The brunt of my work this semester will be focused on Spanish Theatre, with 8 plays in 15 weeks, I will have lots of reading to do! I don't know how Politics of Latin America will go, but it should be interesting! Well, I am ranting like my roomie now, so I will go, good luck to all!

It was mixed with a mess from the HC meeting and difficulties in my relationship with Jamie. The maturity issue is starting to play a factor. After studying abroad, I have matured so much since before I left, and Jamie is just out of high school, so nonetheless, there is a huge difference. So I hope things work out, I hate feeling this way!
Hope everyone has a great first day!

School starts tomorrow! I am so excited! I really enjoy classes if you haven't noticed, and tomorrow I have both my math classes and my computer science class! How cool is that! My schedule can be found on my website under "About Me" and the "Schedule" tab. I have my math classes on MWF and my spanish classes on TR. It is a perfect combination! Plus, I get to work 12 hrs a week in the math lab, how cool is that! So, anywho, I will stop rambling and get ready for my exec board meeting that I have in 20 minutes, talk to everyone soon, good luck with your first day of school!
